The Ranking
Basically, if you're an Arrancar, you have the chance of becoming an Espada typically if there is actually a position open for you to actually be picked. How will you be picked? That's simple. If we the staff think that your character deserves said position, then we'll most likely tell you that we think you may be good enough, however, if the Espada ranks are already filled up, what you'll have to do is kill Espada 10, (or 9, depending on if it's 0-9 or 1-10, consult an admin on this if you have a question). An Administrator or Moderator will set up a match where you have to fight the Espada to the death. The Espada are not allowed to back down from this, and neither are you if you decide you want it but realize that you probably can't beat the other Espada.
In plain terms, that would simply mean tough luck. Unlike in the series, we will not be giving ranks out to the Arrancar. You will not be given a number based on when you are born, (when you are turned into an Arrancar.) but simply you will just be named an Arrancar and only the Espada will get the actual number rankings. We have this because there is no real set limit on the Arrancar and therefore it would be difficult to keep up with a constant flow of new characters coming in attempting to be them.
Ranking up as an Espada is the same as becoming an Espada from Arrancar. You may Private Message a staff member about wanting to attempt to move up higher in the ranks. Then however, you will also have to ask the Espada whether or not they accept the challenge of a deathmatch, which is the difference. They do not have to accept, however that only means that you can't have a formal deathmatch if they do not accept, you may still trick said Espada into a topic that allows killing and do it then, although if that is done you may not receive the rank up.
------Obeying
All Espada and Arrancar are too follow the orders of the person that created them and that person only. This will be an NPC character created by the staff and will most definitely be run by all of us. Failure to do this will result in severe punishment varying depending on which staff member is playing the character at that certain time. Typically, what will happen if there is a betrayal between the ranks is that person will be killed by either the Leader of the Espada/Arrancar or one or more of the Espada themselves. We would like to keep things balanced, so if you do not like to be given orders, don't bother creating an Arrancar/Espada character.
The leader of the Espada very well may ask you to do something that you do not particularly want to do, however, you will have to obey that order. That being said, that does not mean that you won't be given any freedom. You may request something like a mission or a 'visit' to the human world if you wish. All that you would need to do would be to Private Message a staff member and get the approval from one of us to leave Hueco Mundo. For the sake of storyline or us having anything planned you may not be given permission but on most occasions you will be allowed to temporarily leave.
