PostSubject: Power Tier   Power Tier EmptyTue Jul 05, 2011 1:38 am

Here on Bleach Lovers we use a system that gives certain ranks/levels to a character. It's separated into five tiers from Beginner to Almighty, these five category's are all separated in three levels from weak to strong. A stronger rank defeats a weaker rank unless the weaker ranked person really plays well. This is to avoid powerplayers, as members of the staff can interrupt and END a fight if people who wouldn't normally be able to defeat someone does so through powerplaying or godmodding.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are all the levels with descriptions:

Beginner level: Weak/Average/Strong [BL-W / A / S]
Examples: Kurosaki Yuzu, Kurosaki Karin, Don Kanonji

This is the lowest level of Reiatsu, The strongest example of this would be that your able to see spirits and use your reiatsu in a form of weak Kido like Don Kanonji. The lowest level of this would result in not even having the ability to notice spirits, the average is to hear, smell or see traces of Spiritual Activity.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Low level: Weak/Average/Strong [LL-W / A / S]
Examples: Inoue Orihime, Shiba Ganju, Unexperienced (Academy) Shinigami

At this level the Reiatsu of your character has already developed itself to a Reasonable level, Your character is able to use Kidou and control their Reiatsu, your character will be able to use their special abilities better if they have any.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Middle Level: Weak/Average/Strong [ML-W / A / S]
Examples: Numeró, Seated Officers, some Vizard without Bankai, etc..

This will be the most commonly seen Level, it's the average. At this point shinigami will have their first release.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

High level: Weak/Average/Strong [HL-W / A / S]
Examples: Vizards without Bankai, weak to average Vizards with Bankai, Higher-seated officers, Numero, Vice Captains, weak to average Captains.

This is commonly known as the Vice-Captain level. Bankai will automatically bring you into this level. A mastery of one's Shikai will also grant you this level. Some Captains can also be considered in this level, ones that may not have completely mastered their Bankai. This is the 'beginners' level into the Master's level, basically.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Master level: Weak/Average/Strong [MaL-W / A / S]
Examples: Espada 2-10, Gotei 13 Captains, Kurosaki Ichigo, Vizards with Bankai, etc..

This is commonly known as the Captain level, this is a strong level that only strong characters will be graded with, like the members of the Espada and Gotei 13 Captains. It is very rare if anyone other than a Shinigami, vizard, or arrancar is graded this level. Mastery of one's Bankai automatically grants you access to this level.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Almighty level: Weak/Average/Strong [AL-W / A / S]
Examples: Aizen Sousuke, Yamamoto-Genryûsai Shigekuni, Espada 1

This level is extremely rare and will mostly be used for Canon characters and Event NPCs. These characters can compete with two or more captain level characters and have extreme strength, in most cases this strength is built up over thousands of years.

Below is a more specific description of each level.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Weak:
You're attacks are placed on a weaker end of the spectrum. You hit harder than those a tier below, but you have trouble fighting those above you.

Average:
This is the middle level, that most characters will be placed in. These characters can stand up to those on both ends of their tier. While having more difficulty with Strong characters and much less with weak characters.

Strong:
This is the strongest class you can reach in one level. You can fight any level below you, and only have some sort of trouble with those ranked at Average.

How you rank up:

Ranking up is determined by posting quality, contributions to the site, activity, etc,....

Staff duties do not count as "contributing to the site". Contributing means starting threads for others to join, doing sub-plots for your characters, etc,...

Post count does not effect your level. Characters can not go down in level, except in special circumstances.

The higher your Tier, the harder it is to go up a level. Certain awards (listed below) will cause you to automatically Tier or rank up to a certain level.

AWARDS:

Discovery of spiritual powers: Beginner level, Strong
Control of spiritual powers: Low level
Finding of Quincy Bow: Low level, Strong
Graduation from Shinigami Academy: Mid level, weak
Mastery of Shikai: Mid level, Strong
Vizard mask, with no Bankai: Mid level, Strong
Sanrei Glove Training: Mid level, Average
Bankai: High level
Captain position: High level, average
Espada position: High level
Vizard Mask, with bankai: Master level
Mastery of Bankai: Master Level
High Espada position: Master Level

Respective Tier Level Analysis

Your Tier Level represents your character at their FULL POTENTIAL. What does this mean? This means that a Shinigami, alone, without releasing their Shikai or Bankai, who was approved at High Level, Average will not always be at that Tier Level. That level is a representation of their Full Potential. When not released, or in a relaxed state, they are obviously at a far lower level. As such, the following list will now be implied for those wondering exactly what level their character would be under certain levels (Shikai, Resurreccion, Vizard Mask, etc)

Shinigami

Shinigami [3 Levels of Power; Unreleased, Shikai, Bankai]

For those with Bankai

Unreleased Zanpakuto
subtract 3 Tiers for Mid Level
4 Tiers for High Level
5 Tiers for Master Level

Shikai
subtract 2 Tiers for Mid Level
2 Tiers for High level
3 Tiers for Master Level

Bankai, full potential.

For those without Bankai, you can use the following diagram. It is similar to the previous, but far more simple (since you cannot quite acquire High level without Bankai);

Unreleased,
Subtract a Full Tier Level (Go from Mid Level to Low Level).

Fairly simple, correct? Let's move on.

Vizards

Vizards [4 Levels of Power; Unreleased, Shikai, Bankai, Mask]

For those with Bankai.

Unreleased
Subtract 4 Tiers for Mid Level
4 Tiers for High Level
5 Tiers for Master Level

Shikai OR Mask
Subtract 3 Tiers for Mid Level
3 Tiers for High Level
4 Tiers for Master Level

Shikai AND Mask (Or JUST Bankai)
Subtract 2 Tiers for Mid Level
2 Tiers for High Level
3 Tiers for Master Level

Bankai and Mask, full potential

For those without Bankai.

Unreleased
Subtract 3 Tier for Low Level
Subtract 3 Tiers for Mid Level

Shikai OR Mask
Subtract 2 Tier for Low Level
Subtract 3 Tiers for Mid Level

Shikai AND Mask, Full Potential

Arrancar

Arrancar are fairly simple; roughly a half (or one full Tier Level) at pre-released strength, then full potential at Resurreccion.

For All Arrancar

Unreleased
Subtract 2 Tier for Low Level
Subtract 3 Tiers for Mid Level
Subtract 3 Tiers for High Level
Subtract 3 Tiers for Master Level

Resurreccion, full potential

Quincy and Humans

For both Quincy and Human characters, it can be assumed that their full potential is always possible. While not always walking around at their full tier, they can release their Reiatsu in order to obtain their full potential (Full Tier Level). This can also be said for all Spiritual beings, including Spirits, Pluses, and Hollows. Since they do not have a Transformation of sorts, then they do not require a fractioned power rating.
