Vizard Applications
This section will be dedicated to those who wish to apply for a Vizard Character. There will be a step-by-step process in order to help you understand exactly what each section of the Application is for, and how to produce an acceptable overall Application.
Subject: Please use the Title as your Character's Name. If you are working on an application, and will not finish it in a single round, then place the notation: [WIP] next to your character's name. It may also be helpful for you to put the notation [Vizard] as well.
Subjects will be edited upon completion of acceptance to include the Race of your character, as well as its Power Tier.

General Information

Name: Self explanatory. Please place the full name of your character. If you desire, you may place nick names here as well, but we're looking for a mandatory full name.
Actual Age: Vizards generally live up to about a thousand years of age in the Bleach Universe or older, depending upon their spiritual energy. As such, you may feel free to insert the age of your character. We recommend with starting applicants, between 150 to 250 years of age. It is assumable that one develops their Shikai, on average, in about 150 years or so.
Appearing Age: (Actual age divided by 10)
Gender: Male or Female.
Appearance
Pictures are always helpful, but they should not be a replacement for appearance. A picture cannot tell how tall someone is in comparison, nor the weight. Still, things like this are not alone in this section. Use pictures as a guideline if you have to. Please refrain from making 'lists' in this section, we would prefer you to write out the actual appearance. You may, however, write out a preemptively, i.e., while it's still a WIP, in order to help you describe the general characteristics of your applicant.
Hair color, length, style, eye color, skin complexion, height, weight, body build, muscle mass; all things that are visual aspects should be included here. Do they wear glasses? Do they have accessories like earrings, bracelets, or necklaces? Do they wear the standard Shinigami clothes or have they abandoned that attire? How is their Zanpakuto positioned? So on and so forth. As above, this section should be roughly 1 to 2 paragraphs; five to seven sentences each.
Personality
A general explanation of your character's personality. Make sure you don't have contradicting aspects listed here, i.e., state that he or she is a 'rebel' but 'respects authority,' or hates violence but loves to fight. Such things tend to make no sense at all. The best route to go would be to stick to a single aspect, and elaborate. Dig deep; what truly brings your character out? Don't just give a general, bland description, we want you to truly develop your character's personality here. Explain what makes this character of yours more three dimensional. What pisses them off, what makes them laugh, what do they like, are they easily trusted, or do they trust easy? So on and so forth.
A lot of people have been making contradictions in their explanation of the personality, and I believe it's due to players wanting to put in too much into their character. Tone it down to about one to three aspects of a basic personality, then expand from there. This section should roughly be 1 to 2 paragraphs; five to seven sentences each.
History
Birth, parents, childhood, maturity/puberty, teenage years, adult life, Shinigami Academy, Hollowfication process, friends, training, etc. Everything in terms of what goes on in one's life should be placed here.
However, we do require a good lengthy history; 5 paragraph minimum, of five sentence minimum each. That's twenty five sentences, at the bare minimum; fairly easy. Each paragraph can hold a key point in their lives; it's simple. First paragraph, describing parents, birth, and where they grew up. Second paragraph, discovery of spiritual awareness and entrance into Shinigami Academy. Third paragraph, discovery of Shikai. Fourth paragraph can explain when and how they received their Vizard Mask and how exactly they went through the Hollowfication process. The fifth can be placed anywhere, and can hold key points in the character's life. See? Easy, I just gave you pretty much a template to work with.

Zanpakutō

Name: Name of your Zanpakuto; self explanatory.
Translation - This section is optional; if you use a name that is Japanese, you may place the English translation here.
Unreleased Appearance
A single paragraph is sufficient enough for this Appearance Description. Most Zanpakutō look like regular katana, with slight variations between them as one would expect between different swords. There variations are commonly:
Katana (刀): The term katana may be applied to the standard-size, moderately-curved, Japanese sword with a blade length of greater than 60 cm (23.6 inches). The katana is characterized by its distinctive appearance: a curved, slender, single-edged blade, a circular or squared guard, and a grip long enough to accommodate two hands.
Wakizashi (脇差 (わきざし); meaning "side insertion"): A short blade between 30 and 60 cm (12 and 24 inches), with an average of 50 cm (20 inches). It is similar to but shorter than a katana, and usually shorter than the kodachi (小太刀 (こだち); meaning "small sword"). The wakizashi was usually worn together with the katana. When worn together the pair of swords were called daishō, which translates literally as "large and small". The katana was often called the long sword and the wakizashi the companion sword.
Nodachi (野太刀 (のだち); meaning "field sword"): The nodachi was more difficult to wield due to its size and weight. The length of the nodachi's hilt varied between twelve to thirteen inches (30 to 33 centimeters). Its cutting capability and range exceeds that of a katana, due to its weight and size.
In addition to the upgraded forms, the sealed form of a Zanpakutō can also be radically altered, though such alterations are purely cosmetic and usually don't offer any significant advantage in battle; one exception is Ikkaku Madarame's Hōzukimaru, whose hilt stores a blood-clotting ointment.

Relationship to Master
Similar to personality, this section is just a 'relationship' portion of the personality. While personality should be a wide variety of what he or she feels towards various views and so forth, this section should uphold their relationship towards your character; how they get along and so forth. One paragraph should be sufficient.
Inner World
Every Zanpakuto has an inner world in which it resides. It is within the Shinigami themselves. Please describe roughly in one paragraph what this inner world appears.

Mask Appearance and Summoning
General description for the Vizard mask, and how it's summoned. A generalized time frame for how long one can sustain the mask can also be listed, but be warned; Canon Vizards can only hold their masks for three minutes, and they're pretty much the powerhouse for Vizard applicants. We suggest a low time, and with upgrades, this time frame can be increased. Do NOT place 'Three Minutes' here. That is the absolute maximum for Vizards until Canon proves otherwise (Ichigo, of course, being a very special case, as well as Mashiro)
A minimum of 1 paragraph.
Hollow Abilities
Once the Vizard Mask is summoned forth, a Vizard is granted additional abilities. You may choose from the following list, or create your own abilities unique to your character's theme. Remember, these abilities are only granted when the mask is worn. No new applicants are able to wear their mask indefinitely.

Zanpakutō Shikai

Call Out Phrase: The phrase in which is used to call forth one's Shikai. Recommended to 1-2 words.
Translation - Optional; applicable only if the above is already in Japanese.
Shikai Appearance
Another Appearance section. I heavily suggest reading over the Powers FAQ section, which is the very next Chapter of the Guide. It will describe in more detail the limitations of Shikai in both appearance and abilities. A general description of what your Zanpakuto's first release appears. You may simply express the newly altered weapon, or the actual process. Do not post any abilities in this section. Abilities belong in the very next section, not here. A minimum of six sentences should be sufficient enough to describe the weapon, though if needed, a staff or moderator may ask for more.
Shikai Abilities
Here, you may list three abilities at max. Remember that all powers for all characters must have a specific overall theme. Also note that all race applicants must also abide by the Powers section located in the next chapter. For all powers and abilities, please make a list format, similar to this:
